What and how will you learn?
Learning Data Engineering involves much more than storing information or querying a database. During the program, you will learn to understand how data is generated, how it can be organized, stored, transformed, and processed, and how it can be made available to other technological solutions in a structured manner. The goal is for you to understand not only how to work with data but also how to build the processes and structures that allow that data to be used in an organized, consistent, and reliable manner..
You will start by developing programming fundamentals and understanding the data ecosystem. You will then advance to programming applied to Data Engineering, databases, Big Data, Business Intelligence, and Data Mining.
As you progress, you will work with increasingly complex problems and scenarios where you will need to combine knowledge from different areas to design solutions focused on managing and processing information.
Methodology
The program uses a theoretical-practical, methodology, in which concepts serve as a foundation to later apply them through exercises, practices, problem-solving, laboratories, and projects.
Classes combine conceptual explanations with demonstrations, guided activities, and spaces where the student will need to experiment, analyze information, and build their own solutions.
During the early stages, there will be greater support to develop programming, data, and database fundamentals. As the training progresses, the student will need to integrate knowledge from different courses and solve scenarios with a higher level of autonomy.
This methodology aims to promote learning through practice without neglecting the necessary fundamentals to understand why a particular solution works, what problem it aims to solve, and how it could evolve in more complex scenarios.
Evaluation and support of learning
The evaluation is part of the learning process and is not limited solely to determining a grade, but seeks to create spaces to identify strengths, analyze areas for improvement, and ensure continuous progress regarding the skills developed by the students.
Depending on the characteristics of each course, exercises, practices, laboratories, projects, evaluations, research, case studies, individual or collaborative activities, and other strategies may be used to demonstrate mastery of the corresponding knowledge and competencies.
We understand that working with programming, databases, and information processing involves experimenting, solving problems, identifying errors, and analyzing different alternatives.
For this reason, teacher support constitutes an important part of the training process. During the different courses, you will be able to ask questions, receive feedback, and obtain guidance on the content and activities developed.

Entry Profile
The program is aimed at individuals interested in starting a structured training in technology, programming, and data management.
Students are not expected to have prior mastery of programming languages, databases, or specialized Data Engineering tools, as the path begins by developing the necessary foundations to progressively advance to more complex content.
However, it will be beneficial to have a willingness to learn, an interest in technology and data, the ability to approach problems logically, curiosity about how information works within systems, and a commitment to practice outside of class.
It will also be important to maintain an open attitude towards learning English due to its presence during different stages of the program and its importance within the tech industry.
Is this program for me?
This program mey be a very good fit for you if:
You are interested in understanding how data is stored, processed, and used within applications and organizations.
You want to start a technology training program even if you do not have prior experience.

During this first stage, the student begins to learn how information is generated, stored, processed, and used within different technological solutions.
Subsequently, Programming for Data Engineering allows applying programming directly to data-related scenarios, while Databases provides fundamental knowledge to understand how structured information can be organized, stored, queried, and managed.
With this foundation, the student advances to larger scale technologies and scenarios through Big Data, where they begin to understand the challenges associated with large volumes and different types of information.
The training continues with Business Intelligence, relating the preparation and organization of data to its subsequent use for analysis and support for decision-making processes.
Subsequently, Data Mining allows exploring concepts related to the discovery of patterns and knowledge within information sets, broadening the perspective on the value that can be obtained from data once it has been properly collected, organized, and prepared.
The acquired learning begins to integrate through Final Project for Data Engineers I, where the student must analyze a need and begin building a solution using knowledge from different courses in the program.
In parallel, English I, II, III, and IV they progressively develop competencies in English that allow the student to navigate with greater confidence in academic and technological environments, where this language has a fundamental presence.
The path culminates with Final Project for Data Engineers II, in which the student integrates the technical and methodological knowledge developed during the program to complete a broader solution related to data processing, storage, transformation, or integration.
In this way, the program seeks for the student not to be limited to learning isolated tools, but to understand how different technologies, processes, and knowledge relate to each other to build useful data solutions within a technological environment..
